Our client is a sustainability organisation with an outstanding reputation and superb working culture, seeking a purpose driven individual to lead, develop and grow their Built Enviroment Programme. With a strong built environment background, excellent commercial acumen and a passion for sustainability, they will interact with business leaders at all levels to develop and deliver the best strategic solutions to drive the net zero transition within the Real Estate sector.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of success in performing the full range of transaction management functions and leading internal and outsourced teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand our client's built environment product offering to ensure they remain a market leader in providing solutions for the net zero transition following the UKGBC Net Zero standards.
- Manage and recruit the built environment team and external consultants, ensuring forward planning and coordination of workload to deliver projects on time and as required.
- Oversee and develop the key relationships with a growing number of built environment customers
- Deliver specific Development certifications in line with customers' requirements.
- Ensure the robust Certification processes and quality standards are always followed.
- Support the business development and account management teams to deliver expert advice to potential and existing customers.
- Lead and present at launch meetings for all Developments, maximising stakeholder education and engagement.
- Oversee collation of monthly cumulative data and report this to the customers.
- Oversee the community engagement programme and ensure processes are continuously improved in line with new legislation and international best practice.
- Analyse delivery data with a view to improving efficiencies and identifying and relieving any bottlenecks in the process.
- Work closely with the COO to advise on product development and improvements to the Certification process and Real Estate Programme.
- Double the built environment revenue by the end of 2022
- Maintain active membership of IEMA and ICRS.
- Attend CPD courses and keep up to date with new methods, standards and policies in sustainable buildings including the UKGBC and GRESB standards and consider how these impact deliveries of our services.
- Communicate any changes in practice to our customers, working in collaboration with the marketing team, business development team, and customer engagement team.

Please note that this is a full-time position where remote working and a level of travel is to be expected. Weekly team meetings in central London are encouraged but are dependant on location.
