Our client is a fantastic not-for-profit organisation based in Oxfordshire seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role has the flexibility to allow you to work 100% remotely but being based travelling distance to Oxford would be beneficial.
This interesting and varied role will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Analysis of Financial and Operational data
- Deliver insightful information to allow decision making that will drive improvement in trading performance
- Support and develop modelling of various income and cost items
- Regular review of KPI's and management information to identify trends and emerging issues in order that mitigating action can be taken
- Look for opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively
- Analysis to support collation of Regional Operational Budgets and Forecasts
- Ad hock analysis, data collation and reporting
- Working closely with Regional Operational Finance and Operational Teams
The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualities and experience:
- Must be able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills in the English language
- IT Skills: MS Office Professional
- Excel ability - Intermediate to Advanced
- Recognised Accounting Qualification
- Extensive Financial Analysis experience
- Experience of Data interpretation
- Ability to learn quickly to get a grasp and understanding of a business and its main drivers in a short period of time
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently
- Able to prioritise multiple, often conflicting tasks
- Approachable and a strong team player who is respectful of others
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to clearly communicate and present financial and KPI data to people with differing financial knowledge and understanding
- Able to collate, summarise and draw conclusions from significant volumes of data from multiple sources
- Ability to lead, motivate and influence decision making
