Marketing Manager

We are really excited to be seeking a Marketing Manager to join our client CRM Students at their Oxford based head office.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all schemes within our clients portfolio are fully let for both the academic year and the available summer period. This will be achieved by creating accurate, well positioned and strong marketing campaigns in support of the Head of Operations and on site managers. 

Key Tasks

  • Produce and executive a marketing strategy for each site in which you are responsible for

  • Manage the marketing for your allocated sites within the CRM Students portfolio

  • Plan and execute online and offline marketing campaigns and activities such as university/student union marketing, email and social media campaigns and outdoor marketing etc.

  • Brief designers on all creative as and when required in line with the CRM brand guidelines

  • Successfully manage and track each sites’ marketing budget

  • Plan and work closely with the Digital Marketing team to ensure campaigns are joined up and well represented to drive maximum impact

  • Implement consistency across all site marketing by ensuring best practice and procedures are being followed

  • Review bookings and propose additional marketing activity where necessary

  • Work with Head of Operations to ensure a consistent approach to the portfolio

  • Lead the Operations team where necessary to plan events (on-site and housing fairs) as well as provide all collateral as required

  • Work with the site teams to ensure show flats are dressed and well represented

  • Attend client meetings and calls as required along with preparing and delivering marketing updates as necessary

  • Oversee third party listings ensuring information is accurate and each listing is as impactful as possible

  • Ensure each site has quality photography and is displayed on the website, third parties and all marketing collateral

  • Manage contracts for referral partners and ensure listings are up to date

  • Provide ideas/input into the CRM generic campaigns such as Rebookers, Bookings Now Open, Summer etc.

  • Review work being carried out by junior members of the team and support/guide where necessary


  • Must be a self-starter willing to work both alone and as part of a team
  • Ability to analyse all available data to make informed decisions to develop our approach to help our clients
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a marketing role
  • Demonstrate the ability to man manage and understand being a line manager i.e. regular meetings, support and progress marketing executives
  • Ideally a marketing or business studies degree or a similar relevant qualification
  • A Senior Marketing Executive looking to step up
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills and an interest in working in a results orientated role
  • Exceptional proof-reading skills are a must
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products and specifically Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
