Our client is an outstanding not-for-profit organisation seeking a Housing Finance Manager to join their team for an initial three month temporary contract but with the option to become permanent. This will be a full time position working from home, Monday to Friday. A laptop will of course be provided and sent to you for ease with full online onboarding to support your training.
The role will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Ensuring continued financial viability and supporting the Value for Money return.
- To develop a positive and productive working relationship with other key members
- Review costs in Open Accounts for completeness & posting relevant adjustments
- Support the team to work towards a 30 years asset spend profile
- Ensure correct treatment of expenditure between repairs and components
- Report on capital spend and financial performance of capital projects
Successful candidates will have the following qualities and experience:
- Full accountancy qualification - (ACA, CA, ACCA. IPFA, CIMA)
- Experience of providing strong Business Partnering services.
- Previous experience of working with housing development, or construction or property business
- Experience of implementing improvements in systems, including working with other departments and organisations to reach solutions that are effective and efficient
- Possess excellent written and presentational skills
- Able to demonstrate excellent PC skills including strong Microsoft Word, Power Point and advanced Excel.
