Our client is an amazing internationally recognised values driven organisation seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to join their team for a maternity contract. This is a full time hybrid position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, with the flexibility to choose the days you wish to work from their stunning offices in Oxfordshire.

This interesting and varied role will cover the following key responsibilities:

  • Month end reporting, including responsibility for:
    • Intercompany accounting
    • Various balance sheet accounts
    • Reporting to US head office via Hyperion
    • Production of management accounts and commentary
  • Statutory reporting and compliance, including;
    • Supporting the year end financial audit
    • Financial statement preparation
    • Corporation tax payments, compliance and statutory returns
  • Internal controls compliance (Sarbox), including:
    • Ensuring that internal control processes are in place and effectively monitored
    • Responsibility for various ITGC processes
  • SAP B1 accounting system superuser, with responsibility for:
    • Approving and revoking access
    • Routine system changes
    • Ad-hoc trouble shooting and general system support
  • Ad hoc project support

Skills, qualities and experience required:

  • Be a qualified accountant with an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification
  • Embrace, embody and exude all that is special and unique about our client
  • Be driven and results orientated with a desire to achieve
  • Have a willingness to throw yourself into a varied and busy role
  • Have a strong attention to detail and an ability to work to deadlines with accuracy
  • Have the ability to manage your workload around busy periods and key deadlines
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to speak to others in the business at all levels and deal with queries from external parties.
  • Have really strong Microsoft Excel skills.
